Morgoth Bauglir: A day in the life of a Dark Lord

WWCD? (What Would Cthulhu Do?) No, for the last time, I'm not a cultist!

You are a woman. I am a machine.

Last night, Sarah was back in town from LA to pick up her stuff, so a bunch of us gathered at Casa del Molson for a...uh...gathering. 'Twas good to see the gang again. Though these guys have a high tolerance for crappy movies, none of them had yet braved the fires of Electric Boogaloo. They shall have to do so at some point, I suspect. We played some old school Sega games (Rampart, Golden Axe II) and generally had a nerd-attack. I was pleased by this. Yes, 'tis a short post, but then again, it was mostly just conversation.

I don't hold truck with stop signs!

Well, it has been an interesting weekend on the whole. Saturday morning saw me throwing up, which was most peculiar because I had not actually had much to drink the night before (unless portions of my life were erased from my memory and replaced by boring memories of sleep). My guess is that it had something to do with the fact that I had pretty much nothing for dinner, and was already mildly dehydrated to begin with, coupled with the fact that I was drinking. At any rate, after a brief prayer to the porcelain god, I was feeling much better. We had our usual Saturday crew over, so a good time was had by all. Marcus Strange, the half-elven swashbuckler, was seriously wounded by a pack of demonic-automobile-worshiping cultists armed with giant battleaxes, and it was not helped by the fact that the priest rolled low on his healing spells. Sunday night, the sister performed in Whitworth Choir's rendition of Handel's Messiah. It was pretty good, though I got stuck sitting behind a post for a goodly portion of the show. The family was also out, which meant yet more of them. After the show, we all went out to dinner, where I endeavored to end up with leftovers, at which I did succeed most nobly. Then it was off to help plan our youth group's Easter sunrise service. Fun.
Monday, I went in to work as normal, and basically did the daily grind, which is basically what I did today. So yes, that is the update. Questions? Concerns? Comments (saints forbid!)? Let me know.
