It's been a while

Sorry for the long delay after the last post (almost a month! Ye gods!). At any rate, things are most uneventful right now at Whitworth. Core has been so bad at points that I have taken to bringing volumes of Hellboy to read while Kathy Storm gives a profoundly condescending and uninformative lecture. If nothing else, it makes the hour more bearable. Soviet Russia has been a pretty good class and I have no complaints about it, though my crazy Georgian room-mate would disagree with me. Logic has been nothing short of a blast, trading japes, jests, and barbs with Forrest. Then there is Drawing I. Let me state up front that I have little natural drawing ability. At the same time, I'm not utterly incompetent. When we did our first artist critique, I think it was safe to say that my piece was the worst presented. The main problem was that I started out the wrong way, and was thus forced to spend the rest of the time trying to fix the foundational errors, which proved to be a difficult task. My current piece, however, has proven to be much better for me, as I have been able to avoid my earlier mistakes from the very beginning, so that this piece is coming out more or less exactly the way I had envisioned it. I'm looking forward to seeing how it will all turn out. Finally, there is the Ethics Bowl. This is something I have been eagerly anticipating all year long, as it will be my chance to take my long-delayed revenge upon those fallacious Nerdinators. To this end, I have worked to assemble a crack team composed of the smartest people in the philosophy department. Needless to say, it will be most satisfying. [insert maniacal laughter here]
