Ye Gods, but I know how to manipulate professors...

Specifically, my public speaking prof, and my history prof. These are guys that I can play like a fiddle. I know what they want to hear, and I know how to feed it to them. BS'ing them is so easy, it's almost criminal. Quite frankly, though, I'm bored of the whole situation and am going to just go to bed. My motivation is perhaps a bit less than what it should ideally be. Who the fuck cares, though?

All I can say is "Wow." Wow.

Check out Dokaka. Picture a hyperactive little Japanese guy humming Iron Maiden songs, and you have Dokaka. I am particularly fond of his renditions of Maiden's "Angel of Death" and Metallica's "Creeping Death." Also funny is his version of the old Allman Brothers classic, "Ramblin' Man." It is a sound to behold.

On Friday night, I saw Kill Bill: Volume 1 with Shawn, Dave, Ben, and Hannah. I must say I was blown away. It was sooo cool. Uma Thurman plays an assassin known only as "The Bride" who has been betrayed by Bill, her boss, and sets out on a quest for revenge on him and his henchpeople. Any movie that opens up with an old Klingon proverb has to totally rock, as far as I am concerned. And yes, this movie opens with an old Klingon proverb.

Yesterday was rather odd in that it started out with a whining squeel followed shortly by a muffled thud. Yes, you guessed right. A motorcycle caught on fire outside of our dorm, forcing us to evacuate until the fire was put out. Not a good way to wake up. Later on last night, Layne helped put together a surprise party for Lee. It was pretty cool. That's all I can really think of at this juncture. Oh well. What are you going to do?
