Morgoth Bauglir: A day in the life of a Dark Lord

WWCD? (What Would Cthulhu Do?) No, for the last time, I'm not a cultist!

I'm a member of a legion of super heroes...sort of.

That is to say, Superman is Methodist. I wish I could be a lapsed episcopalian like Batman, but then again, if wishes were horses, the world would be covered in horse excrement. Catholics have it pretty good too, what with Green Lantern and such. At least we have it better than the Lutherans and Presbyterians.

What the world needs now...

Well, the weekend was fairly decent. Friday after work, the team went out to Heroes and Legends for drinks and appetizers. It was quite good. On my way home, I began thinking about the name of the bar, and what I would do with a bar with that name. I think it would be really cool to make a bar that specializes in fantasy gaming of all varieties. Think about it. You bring your character sheet, your dice, your miniature, and a few books to the bar, where they have, in addition to the expected copious amounts of alcohol, a wide array of tables set up with detailed terrain and a handy grid for all manner of settings. Each table has a battle-mat for a table-cloth. Tables are set up for war-gaming and card games, and there's a sweet suit of armor at the front door. The decor is like that of a medieval tavern. I think that would kick some serious ass.
Saturday rolled around, and we continued our UA campaign. Right now, we're public enemy number 1 (that's what happens when you get framed for nuking Portland), and on the run.
Sunday was uneventful, and basically consisted of power-napping and finishing up Lost. And now, I eagerly await the release of the second season on DVD. I realize that this is a fairly boring post. So deal with it.
