Morgoth Bauglir: A day in the life of a Dark Lord

WWCD? (What Would Cthulhu Do?) No, for the last time, I'm not a cultist!

It has been a while since my last post, and I am certain that you are all thinking, "Where's Will? I haven't heard from him in AGES!" Well, I'll tell you where I am. I am sitting in the Library right now as we speak, or type in my case. What am I doing? This. What has happened in my life over the past month or so since the last post? Next to nothing outside of school, but I'll try to give you the scoop to the best of my abilities.

Books: Well, if nothing else, I have been reading prodigiously. I have plowed through Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa, The Underdogs by Mariano Azuela, Avalon by Stephen R. Lawhead, and various other books that I don't really care to get into. Let's just say that German writers (with the possible exception of Nietzche) are some of the most boring entities to ever grace our miserable planet.

Music: Not a whole lot new musically.

Film: I have seen a few good movies over the past month. The other night, I saw Gosford Park, a wonderful British upstairs-downstairs comedy/murder mystery. I also saw Robin Williams' delightfully creepy One-Hour Photo. Positively disturbing...in a good way, that is. The only irritating thing was that these two girls (one of whom happens to be seated right next to me at the moment ) sitting in the row in front of us just sat there giggling at one of the most serious parts of the film, thus disrupting what would otherwise be a gripping moment. I think the two girls in question should seriously consider throwing themselves off of a nearby bridge, thus doing a favor for all of us film-goers who like a serious story. Speaking of much-anticipated carnage, I acted in a horror movie entitled The Cabin. It was made by a friend of mine, who recruited my friends and myself to act in it. I portrayed a sort of hyper-exaggerated version of myself, Will the Nerd. I bear the dubious distinction of being the last death of the movie.

Health: It's official. I have next to no appetite right now. I think its just the effect that cafeteria food has on my system. That could be a good thing...

Academics: I'm an academic god. That's all there is to it.

Hijinks: Never, ever, ever eat somebody elses snot. Because you know EXACTLY where it's been.
