I saw Donnie Darko last night. That was a good film. While it was frequently quite weird, it was immensely enjoyable. Jake Gyllenhall (sp?) puts in a very moving performance as the disaffected and brilliant but disturbed title character and protagonist. By the end of the movie, I found myself questioning my perceptions of reality, as the paradoxes mounted. It was quite odd. I strongly recommend this movie to anybody who, like me, enjoys a good bit of weirdness in their lives.
