I couldn't resist

Okay, so thanks to DMZ for this one. It was in the comments segment of yesterday's post, but it deserves to have an actual link on the main page, so here it is: Planes, Trains, and Plantians. For anyone who has ever lamented how stupid people can be, read it. You wonder how this guy actually got into college in the first place.

A post based off of one of my comments? I'm honored! Well, I suppose that it has happened before. Small age gap and difference in marital status aside, can you imagine the carnage that would ensue were we to be room-mates? Rice Crispies and beer would be the beakfast staple of America and ascerbic wit would flow like the proverbial wine and honey.
Actually, the best memory of our random pairings was that Ethics Bowl in MT. I just wished that the poor SOB who knocked on our door at like 2:30 in the morning had been there when we opened the door. There's nothing quite like seeing Will, bleary eyed, holding a Wakazashi above his head ready to strike! Ahh, the Ethics Bowl, fond memories indeed, especially getting Keith to say "Fo' shizzle my lizzle nizzles... oh and that huge pint of stout I got at Outback on the way home!"

Oh, I should mention that if you go back to the blog page where the paper came from then you get an explanation for why the paper is so terrible. Although the excuse reminds me of something sometime president Bill Clinton would have said when he got caught in flagrante delicto with an intern.

Oh yes, that was the year that really defined the Ethics Bowl for me. We totally kicked it hard that year. Hell, just the ride back with Keith, Catwood, Grover, you, and me was a hell of a ride. I think the secret was that we didn't have nearly as many com and business people going. It was just pure RE/PH (at least in our vehicle). It was never as good after that.
