Fun, Fun, and as the kids are saying these days, "Fun."
Well, this weekend has been amusing, to say the least. Yesterday, Ian showed up from the distant land of Ellensburg for two days of geekish pleasure with us. He woke both Justin and I up at about 10, ringing our doorbell. From there, we both quickly got dressed and rode forth in search of fun. The first stop was the house of Jordan, Sarah, Annemarie, Brandon, and Rita. Jordan, Sarah, Ian, Justin, and I sat around for awhile before we decided that sustenance was needed. Thus, we traveled to the restaurant they call "Shari's". After lunch, we stopped by Blockbuster to pick up some movies to watch. We then returned to the house and watched Shaun of the Dead. It certainly did tickle my funny-bone. Oh, thank the gods of cinema for the brits. After that, we went back upstairs and hung out some more, read the screenplay that Ian and Justin wrote, and the various writings of the members of that house. We then ordered the ever-popular Colossus from the Pipeline and dined. After that, we descended once more into the basement and watched some MST:3k. We then went back upstairs and talked some more. After that, Justin and I returned to the lair. This morning, the snow was even worse, so driving to church was a real bitch. Sunday School was okay. I then cut out of there, breaking like the wind. Ian, Annemarie, Justin and I met for lunch at Taste of India, where we enjoyed their wonderful lunch buffet. It was good, so here I am.
