Goals

Well, everyone needs some sort of goals in their lives. I've decided that one of mine shall be to adopt a set of supernatural laws that I must observe at all times. For instance, I think I shall live by the rule that I may not enter a private residence uninvited. Also, I think I will shun running water at all times. If nothing else, this should prove to be an interesting experiment.

....actually, you just have to avoid CROSSING running water. Either way, it's going to make getting to and from your job a bit difficult, what with that river and all.

If I can't see the running water, then I'm fine. Besides, this was more of a hypothetical example. I think I'll probably just stick to the "no uninvited entry" deal. But I'll interpret that extremely narrowly, namely, that there must be a specific invitation to me in order for me to enter.

Do you have to get new invites every time, or is it very much a Buffy rule, and if people want to keep you out they'll have to go all Wicca?

The ancient belief is closer in line with the Buffy/Bram Stoker conception of the law, so I shall adopt that. Not that I plan on entering any residences uninvited, but a simple "you guys can come in" will not be enough. My friends can enter just fine, but I shall remain at the threshold until I receive a specific invitation.
